We are excited to invite your participation to join our unique volunteering program, Canada Connects, where you can make a meaningful difference by sharing your time, knowledge, and skills with newcomers to Canada.
Canada Connects is designed to create lasting relationships between volunteers and immigrants, helping them navigate their new lives in Canada. We are specifically looking for experienced individuals whose life wisdom and community spirit can provide invaluable support to those in need. This program is perfect for adults and retired seniors who want to continue making a positive impact, expand their horizons, and stay engaged with their community.
Here are some reasons why adults and older adults are a perfect fit:
Their experience is invaluable: The life lessons and professional expertise they’ve accumulated can help guide and support newcomers in navigating their challenges.
Flexible commitment: Volunteering with Canada Connects is flexible and rewarding, allowing them to give back on their own schedule.
Be part of something bigger: They’ll be joining a network of almost 300 volunteers who are helping shape a more inclusive, connected Canada.
We’d love to discuss how you can be involved in this important initiative. Feel free to reply to this email or visit our website https://www.lcclc.org/ to learn more.
Together, we can help new Canadians feel truly at home.
Please email or text Ian Bagnas if you are interested.
