The Pillar Impact and Learning Centre is a fully redesigned initiative integrating keystone programs at Pillar under one umbrella. This Centre is a key resource for nonprofit and social enterprise development in London and the wider region. A. WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES: The Centre provides a wide range of learning themes and programs tailored to the needs of nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, and community builders.

Social Enterprise and Social Finance: Provides education on social finance models, investment readiness, and integrating social enterprise practices into nonprofit operations.

Equity and Inclusion: Delivers training on equitable communication, inclusive design, and ethical storytelling, fostering environments that promote diverse perspectives.

Policy Development and Advocacy: Teaches strategies for effective policy creation and legislative engagement, empowering participants to drive social change.

Executive Leadership Support: The Centre offers a robust support network for executive directors and CEOs, including customized coaching, peer-to-peer support, and leadership development resources. This program is designed to equip senior leaders with the tools they need to navigate the complexities of nonprofit management.

Board Governance: Pillar’s hallmark training to provide clarity on the roles of board members vs roles of staff and operational volunteers.
B. RESOURCE LIBRARY: Participants have access to a comprehensive resource library that supports their ongoing learning and development. A link to resources will be provided upon registration of workshops.
C. OFFICE HOURS: We invite community members to drop into 201 King Street during Office Hours every Tuesday from 9-11 am, where Pillar staff are available to answer your questions, provide guidance and information on our training programs, and offer personal support.
