We’re looking for an outgoing task-master who will help us bring communities together to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Team Days: Organize and facilitate engaging Team Days for corporate groups, ensuring an exceptional experience that inspires ongoing support.
  • Plan and Support Events: Coordinate Habitat-hosted events and assist with third-party fundraising events to expand our community reach.
  • Be Social Media Savvy: Leverage social media platforms to engage potential sponsors and promote fundraising initiatives.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Meet and exceed fundraising targets through proactive relationship-building and innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Sell, Solicit and Secure Corporate Sponsorships: Cultivate and secure corporate sponsorships up to $10,000, creating meaningful partnerships that support Habitat’s mission.

About You:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an fundraising, sales, and/or event coordination role.
  • Experience developing engaging content for social media that drives results.
  • Experience with SEO/SEM is an asset.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and build connections.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Able to work within tight deadlines and coordinate information from a variety of sources
  • Consistently demonstrates confidential, professional behaviour
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
