Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30a.m. to 4:30p.m.

JOB SUMMARY:  

TheAdministrative Assistantprovides comprehensive support in maintaining accurate financial records and performing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operations of the Oneida Family Healing Lodge.

This role involves tasks such as maintaining financial records, processing purchase orders requests, reconciling financial transactions, preparing service contracts, preparing monthly financial statements, preparing monthly service reports, assisting with scheduling, attendance maintenance, meeting preparations, and assisting with onboarding of new staff.

This position will ensure compliance with established organizational policies and procedures, work closely with the Finance Department, and assist with quarterly financial reporting to external funders.

EDUCATION:

  1. Post-Secondary Diploma in Office Administration or related field is preferred.
  2. A High School Diploma will be considered in combination with at least five years experience in finance/bookkeeping and administration duties.

 

EXPERINCE:

  1. Extensive employment experience in a finance/bookkeeping capacity.
  2. Extensive employment experience providing administrative support.
  3. Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Sage (Accpac).
