Smashing Barriers: Inspiring Diversity, One Code at a Time

Join TechAlliance for an empowering and transformative event, "Smashing Barriers: Inspiring Diversity, One Code at a Time,", brought to you in partnership with London Chamber of Commerce and JA Southwestern Ontario, as we come together to celebrate the spirit, resilience, and achievements of all those who identify as women in honor of International Women's Day.

Bringing in the one who codes, inspires inclusion in the tech ecosystem and has a Barbie doll made in her likeness, you’ll be inspired by Melissa Sariffodeen, Co-Founder and CEO of Canada Learning Code. Melissa will be taking the stage in a memoir-style talk, sharing anecdotes and lessons learned from her journey building one of Canada's largest technology education organizations aimed at increasing diversity in the tech industry.

This event is tailored to uplift, inspire, and connect women from all walks of life, providing a platform to share stories, exchange ideas, and foster a community that celebrates diversity and strength. Get on the path of an unforgettable exploration of Melissa’s entrepreneurial journey and leave inspired to break your own molds, inspire inclusion, and pave the way for a brighter future.

Ticket includes a complimentary drink & hors d'oeuvres.
