Indulge in your love of Regency dancing, socializing, “home” theatrics and other activities that Jane Austen might have enjoyed attending!
Adding to the fun will be a short presentation of a few scenes from Darcy & Elizabeth, from London playwright Marion Johnson’s adaptation of Pride & Prejudice.
Dance workshop hosted by Karen Millyard. Karen is a renowned, Toronto-based dance mistress who has been leading English Country Dances for many years. She is a choreographer, researcher, consultant, and professional dance teacher who works in theatre, television, schools, and the community.
Costumes are encouraged but not required.
History + is a unique program that lets you explore different aspects of the Village and history, than you may experience during a regular visit.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Fanshawe Pioneer Village is located within the Fanshawe Conservation Area, entrance at 1424 Clarke Road. Follow the orange signs through the conservation area to our large parking lot on the left-hand side of the road (there is accessible parking at our Spriet Family Visitor Centre).
There is no public transportation to site.
What’s the refund policy?
Refunds are not available.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We are tree friendly! You do not need to bring a printed copy of your ticket with you but we will ask for your name, or the name you registered under.
