Come celebrate Canada Day the old fashioned way at Fanshawe Pioneer Village! Get out your Sunday best and come to our Dominion Day celebrations. Patriotic speeches, carnival games and cake and lemonade are a few of the activities that will bring the past to life.
A temperance tea will be held for the supporters of the teetotaller movement at 10:30 in the Tavern.
This year’s interpretive date is 1877.
Enjoy a red and white special at the Pioneer Village Cafe: BBQ ribs and chicken with potato salad coleslaw and traditional rice pudding.
