JOIN US IN CELEBRATION AND SUPPORT A GREAT CAUSE!
On Wednesday, April 12, 2017, the Learning Disabilities Association of London Region will be holding its 3rd Annual Leadership and Learning Breakfast at the Best Western Plus Lamplighter Inn & Conference Centre. The breakfast includes not only delicious food, but also inspiring insight from individuals that have embraced their learning disabilities (LDs) and pushed boundaries to be successful.
Our mission at LDA - London Region is to make sure that every child and youth in our area has access to the programs and services we offer.
From 2015, the breakfast event has proven to be a great success! The event is attended by over 250 people annually and has raised over $46,000 in support of LDA - London Region’s summer camps and Reading Rocks program.
Objectives for our Breakfast events are:
Offer an educational and awareness event for the community
Raise revenue to support our programs and services
Eliminate the stigma that surrounds children, youth and adults with learning disabilities
Create an understanding of the importance of empowerment, advocacy and hope
PROCEEDS FROM THE 3rd ANNUAL LEADERSHIP AND LEARNING BREAKFAST WILL HELP FUND THE ESSENTIAL READING, MATH AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS.
