Defeat Duchenne Canada is the only Canadian charity solely focused on funding Duchenne research,and over the past 20 years, the generosity of primarily Canadian families has supported enormous fundraising efforts for Duchenne research. It is because of our families, donors and volunteers that help to fund research that those living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy can feel encouraged and hopeful!
Our volunteers are a great contribution to Defeat Duchenne and play an essential role as they support us in planning and running events, assisting in the office, sitting on our Board of Directors and Advisory Committee, to working in Jesse's Garden, helping Jesse's Journey fund the critical research needed to find a cure!
